In-Person ITSC Meeting | July 8, Washington, D.C.

In advance of the summer USAEDC FAS Attaché Conference on July 9-10, 2025, PFI will host it's Q3 ITSC meeting in person in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday July 8, 2025.

The meeting will be similar in length and structure to previous years' meetings, with invited guests from USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Foreign Agricultural Service FAS, and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) to present on several topics of interest to the subcommittee. 

Group Dinner, Evening of July 8
Our group dinner this year will be at Chef Geoff's West End at 6:30 pm. 
RSVP’ing for the meeting will also reserve your place at the dinner (link above).

After dinner on July 8, members are strongly encouraged to change hotels from downtown D.C. to the Hilton McClean Tysons Corner where the USAEDC conference will be held. In past years, it was possible to make this move on the morning of the meeting, but this year’s schedule does not allow enough time.

Optional Group Outing on July 7: Monuments By Moonlight Tour We are excited to offer an optional group outing the evening before our ITSC meeting. Since we have not previously incorporated any D.C.-centric activities into our ITSC meetings, we wanted to provide an opportunity for those who have never visited or haven’t had the chance to explore the city to experience some of its iconic landmarks.

On the evening of July 7, we will be attending the Monuments By Moonlight tour with Old Town Trolley Tours. This 2.5-hour guided tour will take us to some of the most famous monuments on the National Mall, including the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam War Memorial, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. • 🎟 Tickets: Members are responsible for purchasing their own tickets. Ticket prices may increase as we get closer to the date, and spots are not guaranteed.
