The International Trade and Scientific Committee (ITSC) will convene in Washington, D.C. for its 2026 in-person meeting, bringing together industry leaders, technical experts, and government partners to discuss the latest developments impacting the U.S. pet food trade and market access. The meeting will provide attendees with timely updates on global trade issues, regulatory and scientific priorities, tariff developments, export programs, and key international market trends affecting the pet food industry.

The agenda will feature discussions with invited U.S. government officials from USDA APHIS, FAS, and USTR on evolving trade policies, export certification, animal health considerations, and international engagement. Attendees will also have the opportunity to exchange insights on emerging challenges and opportunities across global markets, strengthen industry coordination, and identify priorities for continued collaboration in support of U.S. pet food exports.
