U.S. negotiators worked out a bevy of trade commitments over the weekend while at the ASEAN Summit in Malaysia. The U.S. announced reciprocal trade agreements with Malaysia and Cambodia and additionally established frameworks for future trade deals with Thailand and Vietnam. U.S. agriculture stands to benefit from the agreed-to reductions in tariffs and non-tariff barriers.
