Consumer Price Index up 0.9%, fueled by rising price of gas

Gas prices increased 21.2% on a seasonally adjusted basis in March, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports. Food prices were relatively stable, with grocery prices down 0.2% and food away from home up 0.2%.
